First Impressions Count
When you list your app for sale, you are competing with thousands of other digital assets. A weak description or disorganized financial sheet will lead to low offers. Your sales listing description must immediately prove your app's viability and value.
1. Lead with the Core Opportunity
Do not hide the value. The very first paragraph should outline the key highlights: "Profitable micro-SaaS utility with $2.5k MRR, 15k organic downloads/month, and an active ASO setup. Low operating expenses (under $100/mo)." This hooks high-value buyers instantly.
2. Structured Metric Presentation
Organize your data logically using headers. Clearly display the following indicators:
- Active subscriptions, average revenue per user (ARPU), and churn percentages.
- ASO keyword rankings and top regional organic download sources.
- Tech stack details, server setups, and transition support options.
3. Present the Growth Roadmap
Buyers want to know where the app can go. Outline 3 to 5 realistic, actionable growth opportunities (e.g., adding localized pricing, expanding to Android, or optimizing push-notification funnels) that the new owner can execute to scale the business.
